Christina Aguilera has joined the battle against
AIDS. The singer has been working tirelessly on an
awareness project YouthAIDS in a bid to stamp out
the fatal disease.
The 'DIRRTY' singer is desperate to bring details of
the worldwide epidemic to light, and help in greater
understanding of the disaese to prevent it from
spreading.
"People I know have been devastated by it. The more
we ignore this, the more guilty we are. Everyone is
going to know someone who is affected by AIDS or
even be affected themselves," she was quoted by
Femalefirst, as saying.
"It's about people having respect for themselves and
respect for humanity," she added |
