Christina Aguilera Tops the Charts

Christina Aguilera has topped the US billboard charts with her third album Back to Basics.
Fresh from getting married, the 25 year old had opening sales of 346,000 which saw the chanteuse beat of stuff competition from the likes of US girl group Cherish and soul crooner Lyfe Jennings to enter the top spot.
The news follows on from her album entering at No. 1 in the UK charts last week and has reached No. 1 worldwide in countries like Germany, Australia, Ireland and Switzerland.
